Hey everyone!
Well we have a big change coming, I would guess around the New Year. So to go along with that I though, lets add a new forum.
So here is how this will work.
1. Give forum ideas below. If it's someting unique then make sure to explain what would go in said forum.
2. Suggest what catagory this forum should go in.
On December 31st we will compile a list of the proposed forum names and the one that gets the most support will be implemeted.
Easy cheesy.

I am still fond of a vocational forum...
a forum for people to discuss their vocational ideals and dreams, and for people to help give info on that issue...
i know a lot of people put those topics in school issues, but it really isn't school realetd - because career is more than school...
so i think a forum would be nice, but i would also settle for a renaming of school issues to be: School and Vocational Issues, or something to that nature...

I miss the news forums too!
And, as a few of you know, I think a separate (public) magazine forum would be nice - people could post things in there, instead of in the individual forums. If we ever get more than one user submission, that is :P
We could have mag news and updates in there as well, and it would be a place to leave suggestions, feedback, etc.

how about a dave forum were you all can learn more about me and worship me like a god. or you can have a seasonal forum like the section at walmart :P

A public mag forum can be added should the mag grow. It wont be counted towards this as its a forum needed for the running of the site.

A news forum would be pretty neat, I think. Gives users a chance to discuss and debate their views on issues, I like it. :)

Well with vBulletin we can do an RSS feed from like CNN or ABC or Fox or something like that.

We could do an RSS Feed for news. In fact we could do several. One from the BBC, and 1 from US

Add a news/current events forum when we move to vB?
We can actually do several different feeds, if we want. I know on one of my sites the admins have like 4 different feeds going. This is so they can have news from different countries. That may be more then we need, but maybe a few.

hmm i think one would be good...
that way instead of just going to seperate forums for news, it will be intertwined so we all can have access to world news in one, you know?
becuase as globilization and offshoring increases, we are technically one unit versus 250+ seperate...
But yeah i def. think news/current events will be the best :)

Since I dont know exacttly what the timeline is for vB, maybe we should go ahead and add this, but without the RSS feed.

Yes. Assuming that the site does get converted to vB. We have the license.
