Allen and I had to take Logan to the Emergency Room Saturday afternoon.

The three of us were sitting on our bed playing and Logan went to get off the bed and ended up falling face first. (our bed isn't high off the ground just a box spring and a mattress on the floor)

The bone next to the growth plate broke off completely...
He had surgery saturday night around 9 to fix the break..He was in surgery for a little over an hour... He has two small pins inside of his arm holding the three bones together.

He'll get the pins out next Monday (19th) and get a cast put on it that same day. Right now he's in a splint and a sling.

He's a miserable little boy.. I can't put him down without him freaking out... He wont sleep unless someone's holding him.
:(

It's going to be a rough 3-4 weeks for all of us..
I wont be on much but feel free to still leave messages or comments. I'll update whenever I can to let you guys know how Logan's doing.

Here are some pics
(They were all taken with my phone)

The nice blanket he got while we were in the Emergency room (It's a project linus blanket)

If you have a place in your town that does Project Linus donate yarn to them... It may seem like a tiny little thing but while we were in the e.r. waiting for the surgeon the blanket brought a smile to our faces knowing that someone cared even though they didn't know why Logan was in there or who he is.

It's extremely hard watching him play now... Just today he's fallen down at least 11 times and each time it's scared me more and more.. I'm so ready for him to be better. :(

aww I'm so sorry that happened! It must be so scary for all of you. But hopefully soon this will be nothing more than a bad memory for you, and something that he won't even remember. I'm sure he'll recover just fine, and I know you're going to be taking wonderful care of him.

So He got a nice bright red cast put on yesterday!

The doctor didn't take the pins out though :(

He said he wants to wait until they take the cast off in 2-3 weeks to take the pins out that way he's sure it healed properly..
The doctor said there's no signs of infection so that's good...

He didn't bother to tell us to look away when they took the splint off...
The pins are sticking out of Logan's elbow...

That was the most horrifying and saddest thing ever to see..
I felt like I was going to pass out after I saw the pins sticking out of his little arm. :(
