It breaks my heart to say it, but we've added Google AdSense advertisements to HT. We don't have any traffic, and all the methods that get traffic cost money. There is no one donating to advertise, and the Administrators have decided that, although we don't want to, and don't like it, we need to generate some revenue to advertise on Facebook and Google.

All of the proceeds will go towards advertising and bringing in more users.

Aw, don't feel bad about it. If it can help bring more people to the site then why not?

It goes against my morals. I hate ads, and I hate spamming. I've now bent one of my morals.

I don't think it's anything to feel bad about. I mean it's for the good of so many people. So when you feel bad about it just remind yourself that if this safe haven weren't here than lots of teens (and some adults) could be killing themselves as we speak. So if it keeps the site up, then I say go for it!
