verizon and cingular are the best that i have known of, i have sprint and it sucks majorly dont EVER get it

It all depends on what company has the most towers in your local area, I personally use Cingular, and it works great in the area I live in. I have also used SunCom Or AT&T Wireless, It didn't work quite as well as cingular in my area, just look at the websites for the companies that provide service in your area and see what fits you best :-)

Actually, they do work, very well. My SprintPCS phone has never stopped working at Airforce bases in California, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, etc...

I just got a new plan I have verizon. I like it but the next phone Im getting is going to be Nextel. Those are the best. Get the one with the 2 way pager thing and then u can talk for as long as u want for free using the pager system. Its a bit more expensive but I think its worth it. If u choose verizon its also nice I suggest getting the unlimited texts its fun and u don't use ur min.

- You don't roam.
- Incoming Text Messaging is free [unlike other]
- Its already GSM [where all the other networks are going to]
- Probably best service [where it exists]
Cons.
- A little bit expensive on "regular" plans because it is a GSM network.
- The Phones themselves take longer to connect to the network because of the way they work...
Also, Dont go with Verizon they are the worst. I had verizon and always went over to Analog mode. They are currently being sued for offering "digital" service and its only Analog.

maybe its just the state i am in, actually thats probibly it. my phone is sprint and it works in every state BUT mine. i hate it, piece of junk. the phone is beautiful, top of the line and great to look at but as far as service no one can hear me and its just crap. other in diff. states may think so but our towers around here suck.

Where do you live? I'm just wondering cuz I can check the tower maps and such... I'd say personally, Sprint Sucks because they use shit technology to provide the service... Its something like CDMA2000 or something, and they use specially made phones.. Their signals expand in little [literally] microcell pockets... Where other services have towers every 50 miles or more, Sprint has one every 15 because the signal strength is weak..

they suck monkeyballs and cheat you out of a lot of money... while youre on a contract... trust me , im on a 2 year contract... only used my phone once to call someone and they try to tell me my bill is up to $764

hehe, Sprint likes to sell their phones to trainees just graduating Basic. They find out in a few days they have to be outside to get a decently clear call.
