Do You Stick Up For People Who Are Bullied?

Do you stick up for people who are bullied?

I do. I've seen the affects bullying can have on people, and it's a really horrible problem that I think can only be solved by peers helping peers... because the teachers and administration does jack shit.

Hi Zeek!! :)

I'm proud of you. The world could use a lot more people like you. Even though I was bullied and NEVER defended MYSELF - I always defended OTHER people. I sure could have used someone like YOU in my life - when I was in school. Sadly - you're right. For the most part - teachers and administrators do NOTHING. Peers helping peers IS the only way.

GREAT BIG HUG

I try to. I really do hate bullies...and sometimes I feel the pain that those kids who are being bullied feel and it just makes me wanna cry. Whenever I can stick up for one I do.

i wish i did because i do agree teachers and administration do NOTHING! and when you go to them you get bullied even worse! i wish some people would stick up for me today and when i got bullied really badly back in 5th, 6th and 7th grade. when i had told a teacher the kid came up to me and started cussing right in my face ive only ever stuck up for myself once and that didnt help. i can only remember one time when someones stuck up for me and it shut the kid up! but i wish i would stick up for people but when im about to something just stops me i dont know what maybe its fear i dont know.

but im glad that your around for others who need ya.

I try to... i confece though that often times its just to easy to just "look the other way" you know?

How ever i do know that if i ever saw someone really going after someone, i mean puting them in phsical danger, i wouldnt look the other way. You dont see much of that in my school though.

I used to when I was in school. And like Craig, I had the guts to stick up for people who was being bullied but were too "weak" to even say something about it, but I didnt have the guts to stick up for myself.

So sad, I know.
To feel the wind tearing at my clothes, the elements.

The only truth left in a world of lies and hypocrisy.

The beauty of the abyss.

The anticipation, like anticipating the greatest sex, an existential foreplay.

Looking down into oblivion and voidness.

The ground far, far away as it seems from here, but in reality only a couple of seconds away.

Standing there.

Feeling eternity in a restricted world.

Feeling a decision in a prefabricated existence.

It depends, I don't really have the situations anymore where I see bullying happen. I know what happens when somebody sticks up for somebody being bullied.. the bullies turn on them instead!

Not really, Helen. Atleats not if you know how to do it.

I've done it many times and none of those bullies turned on me instead.

I do, but it doesn't seem to work. Bullies dont care about what others say...but at least they know that some ppl are against them.

You know what? When my mates are bullied its so easy to get angry and stick up for them... But when its me the bullied one...well, I guess I dont have the courage to do anything. I feel numb. And very disappointed afterwards.

Yes, I do...but how far I go really depends on whether they're friends.

i try...but teachers in my school do act against it coz theres an anti bullying policy and theyre really strict with it!
i know what i feel, but i'm afraid to show it, inside, so real, no one else could know it, the whole truth and no lies, cutting deeper i can hear my soul cry, come on testify.

i always try to. and ikr!!! i have told the teachers who the bullies are and what they do but they dont do anything unless they are being bullied!!! my brother brought a snapper firework thing to school and got suspended for a week!!! but did they do anything when they knew he was being bullied for being in small group? they gave him an aid (who did nothing) to follow him around to classes. yeah, that was soooo going to make things better!! have a person follow him but do jack shit every time someone made remarks or excluded him. but when my brother did something like give into peer pressure and made a fool of himself or did something he wasnt supposed to, that was when she paid attention!!! they gave him an aid to stop the bullying, but it only made things worse!!!! i think the real reason he had an aid was so he would get in trouble more often!!!!

i think everyone in the school system is missing a brain.
