College Majors

Post by qsgurl3324 »

I'm a senior in high school and i've been looking around at different colleges. I've finally chosen one but now i'm stuck on which major to go into... I want to be a child psychologist but don't want to major in psychology because its a lot of lecture classes. I think i would benefit more with a hands on major like human and child development... which to choose is a hard choice...

does anybody have any tips on how to choose a college major/minor?

thanks for all your help in advance! :)

if thats what you really want to do then all those lectures will be worth it. just go there and bare through them then before you know it you'll have them over with. and then you can be doing something you love, and want to do!
I've found a reason for me

To change who I used to be

A reason to start over new

and the reason is you

I've found a reason to show

A side of me you didn't know

A reason for all that I do

And the reason is you

You know the types of classes depends on the college. The smaller you go to the more interactive they will probably be. In theory you can pretty much major in anything you want and still do whatever you want with it. Like me, I am probably going into Sports Management, and I am a German major. Just try lots of different courses and don't get your mind set in stone on anything, because, come on, you haven't even started college yet! It's idiotic to make choices like that when you don't know everything that's involved.

Start out undecided and then just try lots of different classes. I started out thinking I knew exactly what I wanted to do and by the end of my first semester I had totally changed my mind. You have lots of time to decide what you want to major in so to start just take classes that you think you'll enjoy and will be interesting.

ok i'm a freshmen in college and i havent decided a major yet. People tend to change majors so much it isnt even worth you worrying about it yet. The best thing is to declare your major by the end of you sophmore year...until then dont worry about it!!!

I would think that you would eventually have to take both classes.
<span style=\'font-family:Times\'Something told the wild geese

It was tine to go

Through the fields lay golden

Something wispered- "SNOW"

Leaves were green and stirring

Berries,luster-glossed

But beneath the warm feathers

Something cautioned- "FROST"

All the sagging orchards

Steamed With amber spice

But each wild breast stiffened

At rembered ice

Something told the wild geese

It was time to fly-

Summer sun was on their wings

Winter in their cry
