calculus is just math there nothing really to describe it...

Calculus is just another form of math that is meant to destroy your self confidence. Because you think you're doing so well in school, but you get a C on one lousy test that you forgot to study for because you were to busy thinking about your friends because it'd been one year since they died, and it drops your grade 3 pts and your mom starts bitching at you about it and you get so fucking mad at her you tell her you wish you'd died with your friends and you hurt her more and she starts crying and you leave, and don't come back until the next morning and she's even more mad because she thinks you were out smoking more pot than usual. AND THEN IT ALL GOES TO HELL.

Calculus is another form of advanced algebra... and I can see it has ruined ppls life I think only genouses (unlik me) should take it

Calculus has a lot to do with slopes, curves, and the relations of Area, lines. It's a mix of Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry all in one big mess of poop. But it's not too hard, I highly suggest taking Pre-Calculus instead of jumping into Calculus like I did, because then u dont have a clue!

It's very hard to find uses for calculus, lol. If you are going to become a vet for example, you don't need it [my friend whines about that all the time]. One use is for if you are going to design something like legoes or engine parts or any irregularly shaped solid, you need calculus [we're learning that now]. Basically calculus is all based on curves. The slope of curves, the area under a curve, the volume of a solid made by revolving a curve around an axis or a line, etc. If you don't get algebra, you won't get calculus lol. Definitely take pre-calculus, I never took pre-algebra or pre-calculus. Calculus makes me feel so stupid, and I'm like uber-good at math usually. :Grumbles:. Hehe.
