Computer Problems
My computer started running realllly slow today, and I'm not sure why. This thing called "Intelligent Explorer" toolbar poped up and wouldn't go away. I did a google search and it said something about spyware. Is there anyway I can get my computer running back to it's normal speed ? I uninstalled the Intelligent Exploer thing. AH. I hate computers. Thanks.

It's spyware. Go to:
http://www.download.com
and download some spyware removal tools. Good ones would be adaware or something like that

Ah I tried that, but damn it costs money to actually remove it. It'll find the spyware programs but then I click "remove" and it says I have to buy it! Erg! Ah well.

so someone is spying on you? you could always take it to a computer store and ask them what happen...or just go to one w/o your computer and ask them whats wrong...

Like mentioned above download.com and get Ad-Aware, another one thats good to have is Spybot - Search & Destroy. Also restart the computer in safe mode and run disk defragment on Drive C. Should help the speed somewhat.
