I was in the chat, and I heard that theres a rule for not being able to give advice in a PM..? Is that true?? If so, can someone PLEASE explain that to me.



Also... in the chat, are you not allowed to say "nooo" ... ??

Yes, some (well, most actually) chat rules are absurd, but there's nothing the members can do about it. Many of the members have complained, but we've got hardly any say in what goes on around here.

really, open notepad (start, run, notepad)



and BOLD SPECIFIC TEXT.



I bet you cannot do it, because with ASCII code there is no such thing as fonts, no such things as bold, italics, underlining, etc. and guess what, THE SERVER only reads ASCII code, so you are out of luck.

I didn't know this though. When I was not on staff, and I told someone to PM me if they wanted anything else, and they DID.. that was illegal?

if you are not staff in the Live chat (regardless if you are staff here) you cannot go into pm... so yes, what you did was "illegal"

alright to answer the origional question...no you arent supposed to give advice...BUT you could always talk on AIM or something...you arent obligated to only talk to people through pm's....and "nooooo" is fine as far as i know...yea the rules are stupid sometimes!
