how does someone aquire a rank other then newbie?

ranks are bassed on post count. the more posts you have the higher your rank is.

i believe once you hit a certain amount you can edit your post.

but thats all i think. other than that their completely useless interesting huh? lol

I'm pretty sure anyone can edit their own posts. If you post a lot of *useful/helpful* posts though, you may be considered for mentor status.

mentors are erm basically those that give great advice but cant be put on the mod team right now. or those that dont want to be on the mod team but want to be reconized

lol go to the bottom of the forum homepage, and theres a thing that says 'the moderating team' click it and itll show everyone on the mod team, includding admins, and supermods

the mentor thing is something stupid to make people feel "better" about not being a mod *gags* Its stupid and all. theres nothing different between a normal user and a mentor (except mentors get their own board).

Mods have special things where they can edit, delete, move, lock or pin topics. their jsut thoses that help keep the forms in tip top shape

If you want to apply for modding, Go tot the main page (http://www.teenhelp.org) and go to staff apps. fill one out for that.... and you'll get an email with in a few days (usally w/in a week) yes, no or maybe.....

Actually you can't apply to be a moderator yet because you do'nt have 100 posts, but um yeah, I'll stop confusing you now

There is an application on the website, but after having only been here 3 days or so I really doubt you will be accepted or even should apply.
