To Kill A Mockingbird

Post by NunchakuSteve »

I'm doing an essay on how the title of the book, To Kill a Mockingbird relates to the story. Now I know that as said in the story..."it's a sin to kill a mockingbird" and that various people are used as "mockingbirds"

But i need a 4 part outline for an essay..i need points on what to write..

like

Thesis

Introduction

I.

a)

B)

II. a)

B)

III.

a)

B)

IV.

a)

B)

Conclusion

in that form I need paragraph topics..and supporting facts from the book on it.

I'd really appreciate the help!

I read the book almost 2 years ago...Hmm if I remember correctly the symbolism is that black guy who supposedly raped that girl. He was supposed to be the mockingbird. Its been so long I cant really remember much about it. A good site to check out for a quick summary of the book is Pink Monkey Hope that helps :)

I'm not that great at depicting all that kind of stuff, but doing a search on google is always great. This site is really helpful for me as long as you can find the right book. Gives some good analysis. Take a look.

to kill a mockingbird is one of my fave books!!! well the mockingbirds dont do any harm to the gardens accrind to miss maudie and the symbolism is that people like Tom Robinson, Mrs Dubose, Boo Radley etc are mockingbirds cos they havent harmed anyone yet they get prejudiced againist. i think that pretty much a bases, i cant really remeber much.
Ruth I was forgotten, I won't be forgotten, never again... says:

When's the essay due? Cause I think I did an essay or two on TKAM.

To Kill A Mockingbird refers to what Atticus sees as the greatest sin, beause the mockingbird does no harm to anyone, and killing it is just releasing anger in your own heart onto something helpless and peaceful.

Yeah...symbolization....I hated the book. But, I wrote some A essays if you wanna take a look at em.

PM me if you want or AIM me, I'm on a ton, if you need any help or whatnot.
