I just got my GCSE results back, and got a big juicy D in Dutch!!! damn it, but thankfully i'm not taking dutch next year.



Did anyone else get their results back??

it's like an SAT, except it's for 16 year olds and it's in the UK... not really standardized (sp?)

after that you don't have to finish high school, but then you can't go on to University

no no a GCSE yes is like a SAT but yes u do take them wen ur 16/15 (depending on wen ur birthday is) they get u into ur college (after high school) and then after college then you can go straight into a job if you like or can go into a univercity,



right our (the uk) years for school is

age 4/5 - 11/12 primary school

11/12-16 high school

then from 16 onwards (depending how long u spend in college in college lol

and then after that howeva old u r from 18 onwards can go straight into a job or into uni, get it u not fron the UK ppl? lol



i am getting my GCSE results on thursday, will let u kno how many fails i got lol

well I actually got the IGCSE... sorry for not stating that :shy: ... I figured that people that did the GCSE also got their results

I got my results last year :D for GCSEs. I got

Science- C/C

Maths-E

English- B/B/A

Law-D

Art-C

D+T Food-C

RE- B

I+T (shortcourse)-D

French- C



Bear in mind that they were from a year ago, and I recieved my AS Levels last week.



As long as the D is'nt going to affect future hopes and decisions, then you should be ok.
