My fiance and I were haveing a chat tonight when the talk of Taxes came up. Hes getting a large amount back from financial aid, around 2.5 grand, and if we have to pay taxes on it i want to know before hand.
So my question goes out to other college students, have you had to pay taxes on your financial aid? when tax season came around, did getting your grants have a effect on your returns?
Thanks ahead of time,
Ciindy
