For the people who drive in here, how much do you pay for car insurance?

I payed about $300 every 6 months. However, I was sharing the car with my parents under the plan and I had a "good grades discount." There are a LOT of variables when determining insurance rates.

Hmmm, about 3000 per year. Maybe a bit more. You're from a city, if i remember correctly, so it will cost a lot more, especially being the city youre from. Buuut, thats for a 19 year old male with 1 speeder. Female will be about...a third, maybe half?

My fiance who is 21 perfect record pays about $1300 a year, $110 a month but thats only for "no fault" aka "If you get hit, no ones fault really, but if you take the person to court, you can get up to $500 to fix your car but thats all". To get full coverage its $50+ more a month.

I don't want to see the bill after i get put on the insurance...

Your life is only as good as you make it. The hardships of life will bring any of us to our knees. No matter how high-spritied, no matter how optimistic. It'll pull us down, drag us through the dirt. Our lives will feel empty and pathedic, we'll have everlasting sadness. Though we must wait it out, beacuse this is usaully only a temporary thing. You must keep faith in yourself, while keeping faith in others. Protect the ones that hold and love you, for they are the most important people in your lives

Dang... that's a crapload to pay per month.

Right now my insurance is way up there (and I'm oh so lucky to have my parents paying). I'll be "buying" my car from them and with no tickets or accidents I'd guess it to be around $150 a month.

Yeah.. and that's with a 'good grades discount'. But since I recently graduated I think that discount is going out the window. I have no idea how much it will be then.
