Hs Finals

Post by SirPostAlot »

hey do you all have hs finals?

this year the admins decided we have to have finals in every class (which sucks cuz its my senior year ;)) but i mean some finals will be fun, i guess its just the major ones that will suck (i.e. chem/calc/eng) ~ which are the ones we usually have finals in anyway...haha...

but yeah and they are May 4th-10th, which is like 3 wks before the end of theschool year, so the last few wks will be relaxing (im hoping) either that or it will be hardcore working to try to bring up horrible grades on the finals...hah.a..

we've always had finals in every class..

they're the last week of school though.

it doesn't bother me too much..cause we also get exemptions..and seniors can exempt all their finals

...

Did you not normally have finals?

We've always had finals, every semester, and they're always worth 25% of our grade.

you're lucky then.

we have always had finals in every class but PE :)

the only way you can get out of them is if you are a senior who hasn't missed more than 3 days, hasn't had more than 3 detentions, and hasn't had an in-school suspension.

and

if you did above-average on your PSAE you can get an exemption slip for 3 exams.

so, i got that down.

no exams for me :)

30 Level classes in Alberta (Grade 12) are all given standardized government testing worth 50% of the grade.

We had to take a final in PE too.

So we got a ten question multiple choice test on basketball freshman year.

Pathetic, huh?

Cheers.

Isn't it a mandate to have finals? That's just silly if you don't.

it was a choice of teachers (but i would have had them anyway (if this wasn't mantadory) in english, chem, and calc) but like other classes (accounting, marketing, and decathlon class) wouldnt have a final...
