Web Journals?

Post by discontinuedXcomfort »

Alrighty... I have this web journal type thing on blurty.com and I was wondering if anyone knew how to change the layout. Like.. how to get your own backgroud and fonts and stuff.. not the shitty ones they provide. I want to make this journal *mine*.. but how can I customize it? And where can I get wallpaper for it?
You've claimed all this time that you would die for me.

Why then are you so surprised when you hear your own eulogy?

He had alot to say.

He had alot of nothing to say.

Come down.

Get off your fuckin cross.

We need the fuckin space to nail the next fool martyr.

To ascend you must die.

You must be crucified

For your sins and your lies.

Goodbye.

I really can't help you on that, but instead of blurty.com, I recommend Live Journal

I have a journal on blurty too.

When you log in, you see the panel

Calendar Recent Friends Info Memories Edit Update Friends Pictures Password Modify Look Styles

Just click 'Modify Look' and there you can change it (but there are only a few layouts there, some layouts are inavailable for new users - only for early adopters - those who got the dieary before the october (or november) 2002)Hope it helped

Good luck :D

Check out around the site you have your diary in. There must be a Help link somewhere.
To feel the wind tearing at my clothes, the elements.

The only truth left in a world of lies and hypocrisy.

The beauty of the abyss.

The anticipation, like anticipating the greatest sex, an existential foreplay.

Looking down into oblivion and voidness.

The ground far, far away as it seems from here, but in reality only a couple of seconds away.

Standing there.

Feeling eternity in a restricted world.

Feeling a decision in a prefabricated existence.

No, a lot of the journal sites out there use livejournal's code, but they arne't associated really, and you can't log in to other sites with one site's password.

Read up on HTML. You can edit it that way, I think

You can for ones like free open diary and teen open diary and in the wire
I traded my dreams for this mess of memories

And they just stopped working for me...

LiveJournal gives away the code to their program. Any site can use it.
