flew home to be with God at 4:07 am this morning. Last night he developed a massive brain bleed and slipped into a coma. He was surrounded by his family as he passed only a few hours later. We are all in complete and total shock right now. Greg is finally FREE! Flying above in heaven free from cancer. WE MISS YOU GREG! AND WE LOVE YOU BUDDY!! IT'S ALL DONE NOW GREG, NO MORE PAIN FOR YOU! WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH! We know you?re up there watching us and smiling. You inspired so many and had so much love for the world. You will be missed! PLEASE GOD TAKE CARE OF GREG. We will post funeral arrangements in the next few days. We have to wait for Jenna and his father to fly back to New York. YOU FACED EVERY DAY WITH A SMILE AND FOUGHT TILL YOU'RE LAST BREATH, YOU WERE A HERO GREG! IN OUR HEARTS YOU WILL LIVE FOREVER!

I lost a couple people in my family over cancer. Poor Greg, Cancer is a rough disease to live with. Now we know he's not in pain n e more. Thats good, but sad. :'( :'( :'(

That's so... depressing.

Yeah, i used to want to die...until i realised a lot of ppl who don't want to die DIE. its not fair, and I shouldn't take for granted what someone else couldn't have, a chance at life....

My best friend died in October. He was 16. He was like my life support.
I didn't know Greg, but to those of you who did, my whole heart goes out to you, especially his family. I know it's a really hard thing to go through. Especially on holidays and his birthday. Feel free to PM me if you need to talk. I've been through a lot of deaths, and I am very willing to help you cope with this tragedy. (Seriously, I'm not just saying that to be polite. I, as well as a lot of other people, are here for you.)

that's a really good and interesting point to keep in mind. sure life has it's bad times but would we really be able to appreciate the good times if it didn't? we shouldn't take it for granted so much.
