1. whats the difference bettween "Reply" and "fast Reply"
2. what does it mean to "subscribe to a forum"...

a fast reply is used without the help of smilies and reply icons and such, and fast reply only uses those things if you manually type them in.

The first is how you quickly reply without having to go into the editor to do so. If you know the tags for everything it makes things much easier.
The second, if you subscribe to a forum you get an email from teenhelp everytime someone starts a new topic, so you know it. Like if you were a mod in self-harm you'd want to subscribe to that forum so you knew everything someone posted in there.
It only emails topics though not replies.
