yeah she does but i cant change it to taylor without my dads permission and he wont give it to us, my sister feels the same way as i do.

I legally switched my first and middle names 'around' about 12 years ago. Up until that time - I was always known as 'Don'. [or 'Donnie' - when I was a kid] My sister still calls me 'Donnie'. With all due respect to all of the Donalds, Dons and Donnies out there - I never liked the name. Some kids called my 'Donkey' when I was in school. [and both of my older brothers names begin with 'D' - which never made ME feel very special!!]



AND...



just a year and a half ago [gee - has it really been that long?!] I legally changed my LAST name. I now have my mother's last name. [actually - I picked it because I respected my mother's FATHER - my grandfather - in other words]



IF - when you became an adult - you would like to change your name - think about it seriously. But always keep in mind - that THIS person [as in ME] thinks it's a good idea!! But make sure whatever name you choose has SOME meaning for you. Your name is an important part of who you are. So do yourself a favour and don't change your name to something like 'Mya Baumstinks'.
