Friends,

As interesting as this topic is, I chose not to think about such things, as there is not much we can do about them.

As far as the discussion is going, I am happy that no one has started arguing and I expect that no one will start to argue, Lets keep it that way, A Nice Mature Conversation on an interesting subject.

It's more funny than anything. Oh... irony.
What I have done is to show that it is possible for the way the universe began to be determined by the laws of science. In that case, it would not be necessary to appeal to God to decide how the universe began. This doesn't prove that there is no God, only that God is not necessary.

that's my dream, that's my nightmare.

crawling, slithering, along the edge of a straight razor... and surviving.

I didn't read the article (i have a crappy computer which takes about 400 hours to load each new page) but i have a question: is it just people in the US who will die? Or will people in Britain die too? (just thinkin bout my own safety here!)

People all over the world will die.

"The thousands of cubic kilometres of ash that would shoot into the atmosphere would block out light from the sun, making global temperatures collapse. This is called a nuclear winter. A large percentage of the world's plant life would be killed by the ash and the drop in temperature."

So, by erupting, this volcano would cause a nuclear winter. Plantlife would die, therefore animals would die, therefore so would we.[/b][/quote]

Damn. I thought i would be safe. Oh well.

You didn't read the article, fair enough. But I've quoted the appropriate sections that answer your question about three times.

Wake up, kiddo.

You probably have. I chose to skim over your posts though. I didnt deem them worthy of my precious reading-time. :D
