Burning Corpse..

Post by shadow soldier »

A 16 year old girl was found dead and burning by two passing cyclists in Holland. She was killed and torched by two 18 year old boys, apparently both friends of her ex-boyfriend. The two just pleaded guilty to all the charges including the actual murder and burning. Holland has no death penalty.. so they will both be in jail for a long time. Of course, 'a long time' in Holland is about 15 years.

The whole arrangement's designed for men who, at some time or other in their lives, were looking for something their own environment couldn't supply them with. Or they thought their own environment couldn't supply them with. So they gave up looking. They gave it up before they ever really even got started"

If you had the choice, what would you do to these apparently guilty teens? ((Question is directed at everyone))

15 years you think? Jeeze... Personally I agree with the death penelty in murder cases with no mitigating circumstances, but at the least life in prison.

Holland doesn't have the death penalty nor life in prison. As I said.. the sentance will be about 15 years.

But the death penalty isn't much better. Putting them to death because they put someone else to death.. it just strikes me as.. weird.

I like Tc's idea. Although if killing and burning a young girl doesn't phase them (as it seems it hasn't), I don't think that will get to them.

Well the punishment should fit the crime, and I believe that is an eye for an eye in some situations.

If it was up to me i would put them in cells by themselves for the rest of their lives alone. Its really the same thing as taking their life away without all the brutality of actually killing them. I also heard its cheaper to put someone away for life than to execute them.

They should not be put to death (I'm not a believer in the practice), but I do believe they should be jailed for longer than 15 years. Tc's idea of having them stare at the victims picture is kind of fitting, though...
Democracy. It rolls off the tongue nicely. Better than others. I can say it, spell it, define it, but can?t admit to ever believing it. So convoluted has it become that it has mesmerized generations into a comma of perfect sublimity. You dance to the music of your youth, identify with your own memory, become a time capsule of numb comfort. And there, mired in the exhaustion of a life in progress, you surrender your right to question for the luxury of not being bothered.

i would torch them too!!! but not to death. just enough so they beg for mercy from the kid's parents. that should teach them, and deter others

Anyway, if it were me I would murder them both, burn their bodies, and leave them in a ditch for two by-standers to find.....

Fun, eh?

But then if you do it that way, someone would have to murder you.

Taking a life is always taking a life, no matter what the circumstances. If you take their lives, you'd be just as guilty as them.

not in my opinion you wouldnt be guilty..once you go through something where someone in your family is killed you want justice and thats often an eye for an eye. before my dad and other relatives were murdered, i would have said the death penalty is wrong and that they should just be jailed for life. but after you go through an experience like that you cant just let someone basically "get away with it" theyre still living. and chances are if they killed someone it doesnt phase them and might never, so theyre really not suffering. i believe they should be burned, the same way they committed their crime.

They should do what they used to do, where they do whatever the killer did to it's victim, to the killer.

So they should kill the boys, and burn their corpses.

i also aggree with that. But if u killed them, they wont be able 2 live with their conscience. even ppl who dont have remorse must have a conscience. and they're conscience will haunt them 4 as long as they live. and TC's idea will drive them nuts. that'll be a harder punishment than death.

But its still sick what they did 2 the poor girl.
