The Computer Clock

Post by XC Sabreur »

The clock on my computer, old comp by the way, always messes up the time. Its always slow. I'll set it to the right time, and the next day its back to being like 30mins-1hr slow. Does anyone know what might cause this? I was thinking that it might be because the comp is so old that its getting rid to die on me.

For those of you wondering what my name means, here it is. The XC stands for Cross Country, because I run cross country and I run distance in track for my school. And Sabreur because I fence sabre in my spare time. And no, its not a lightsabre.

And if anyone else here fences or runs cross country or track, PM me ! we should talk sometime, I love running and fencing :D

the battery for the clock is probably low, you just need a replacement battery, they're the same ones which go in a watch if i remember correct.

You'd beter check the bios battery. But before that, you should check the settings for your clock. Make sure the right timezone for your area is selected, etc...

if u have to Download a third party clock

or if its too slow look for a speed hack. A speed hack speeds up the internal clock. But if u play online games, don't get a speed hack.

or you can download a FREE program that syncronizes your computer to GMT Time. If you do this WATCH OUT FOR SPYWARE AND AD-WARE. If you see anything that says 'GAIN' - dont download it, or install it.
