you see... you all resort to insults and becoming grammer nazis to try and prove me wrong. You all fail to answer the original question. wanna know the answer? the answer is its... "they should be represented but not able to marry because that is a religious sacrement"

once more, you are wrong. i answered your question fully. now stop plugging your religion. we don't care about it, it means absolutely nothing to us..

thanks big.

if you had followed the rules, and kept your religion out, you wouldn't feel insulted.

but i in no way insulted the christian religion..

unless you count existing..

Don't even start with Nazis... your beliefs are pretty close to there. Are Jews against your bible too? How about black people? "Religious sacrement" HOW SO? Because YOUR bible that YOU subscribe to, when there are MILLIONS of other people that don't says so? I don't THINK SO buddy.

8. There will be NO religious talk except in the forum "Religion". It is too controversial and offensive to many users. To keep the peace, religion talk has been DISALLOWED in any other forum except "Religion."

That's fine and all, but we have rule #8 for a reason. You're not the first. Read the rules.

Alright, back to our civilized portion of our debate. Reasons I think gays should be allowed to marry:

They are people too.

The constitution allots equal rights to all Americans in most respects, and is intended to do so in all respects.

It is not up to a single person or group of people to condemn another group of people.

Gays do love, it's not all about sex.

Straight people are just as guilty of crimes against the sanctity of marriage: note the 50% divorce rate.

Well I just do not think that this topic can overcome the past 3-4 pages of stuff in it without going back over it again and again, so I am going to lock it. Any member can start up a new thread on the same topic if they would like as long as they can keep it about the topic at hand and away from religion and gay bashing, take the first 3 pages of this thread as an example. Anyways, I appologize I was not around to try and control this myself.

Thank you for the edits and warns Skye.
