Girls, Is This Offensive?
Is it really offensive/disrespectful to tell a girl that she is skinnier then another?

Re: Girls, Is This Offensive?
Depends on how you put it.
Like if the girl was ALREADY skinny and you were basically saying she was too skinny. Or the girl could be insecure about her weight and think she's fat, and you would be complimenting her by saying that.
Did that make sense? I'm under the influence.

I'd be a compliment for me. I love being called skinny. But I guess some people can find it offensive.. Depends on the person.

Re: Girls, Is This Offensive?
well depends on who you are comparing to, for example if it was me
me/bones skiny (dam, I'm disapearing)
me/skinny nearly bones (dam, I'm a fishboneor am I dissapearing)
me/not fat not skinny (I don't want to get to skinny, or am I nearly bones or a fishbone)
me/a bit fat (good I'm right where I want, or am i nearly bones or a fishbone)
me/fat (are you saying I'm a bit fat or not fat nor skinny? or am I nearly bones or fishbone)
me/very fat (are you saying I'm fat, or a bit fat or skinny or fishbone)
depends who you compare to, and if you say a bit skinnier, a lot skinnier much more skinnier
always have in attention a word less or to many can get serous problems!

Depends...
If I were a bit chubby then some other chick was fat, it'd be comparing me. And either way, I don't like being compared even if I were skinnier in any matter. Last thing I need is someone telling me the way I look.

Lets put it this way, if someone was comparing you to a model who isn't too skinny by any means.

I wouldn't be super mad at him, but I wouldn't thank him for it, either... It's just not something you say to a girl.. unless they ask. Then you want to give them the answer they want.. which varies.

Re: Girls, Is This Offensive?
I don't care when people say it. As long as its not in front of the other girl. That would be awkward..

Wouldn't make a difference to me. I'd be quite flattered if someone said that to me heh.

Now here you go again, you say you want your freedom
Well who am I to keep you down
It's only right that you should play the way you feel it
But listen carefully to the sound
Of your loneliness
Like a heartbeat drives you mad
In the stillness of remembering what you had
And what you lost
Well It's only me that wants to wrap around your dreams
I love you...
