Obviously not. How intense were the investigations? Well, the FBI director in 2001 was fired when he wanted to further investigations on Bin Laden.

I don't think that was the reason he was fired. Let me tell you, if I was president and somebody told me that there were seventy investigations into the actions of a group, I would feel pretty safe. The attack would have happened prettymuch no matter who was in office, and there will probably be another one sometime soon. Weve done a good job at stopping them, but theres allways going to be some that get through.
