Re: Has This Site Helped You?
I'd say so.
From when I was an innocent little dork, this website has been here for me as have the people that posessed the knowledge I need to learn more about other myself and how we work.
I've met a great deal of cool cats off this website, lot of hotties too heh
I know understand a lot more many things that teens go through and I'd say that it's made me a more understanding person. I've felt the best feeling helping the people I have, hasn't been too many..but I still loved being there for those who needed it as this site has been here for me.
*I'll move this to polls...*

That is in no way administrative power abuse. Now let's get back on topic here.[/b][/quote]Originally posted by Skye+Mar 30 2004, 03:01 PM--<table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'<tr<tdQUOTE (Skye @ Mar 30 2004, 03:01 PM)</td</tr<tr<td id='QUOTE'Originally posted by Brad@Mar 30 2004, 01:57 PM

I added a poll, and yes it has helped me.
ADMIN ABUSE~!!!!!1111
I didn't want it to be a poll. I would have liked it if you pm'ed me and asked if I wanted to change it. That does seem kinda abusive of your power, cause I didn't break any rules or anything yet you changed it without my consent.
Harlequin, yea this is chitchat, but it's frustrating to have you make a bunch of comments when a lot of people are staying on topic.
As for the topic, I read what a lot of you said. And I think I agree with some replys. I think I've learned a lot about people just from reading different topics/replys. It's interesting to see other's perspectives on things and try to keep an open mind even if I have strong opinions against what someone says. I think I came in here thinking I was a very open-minded person, but I've had to have almost a humility check when I realised that there's a lot of things I chose to stay ignorant about, which i'm trying to change. Lala, this site has done a lot more positive things for me than I think I give it credit.

Re: Has This Site Helped You?
oh the power of ignoring a person. It can do wonders, it really can. if you see the word cheese anywhere in my post, then ignore it. Simple as that.
And just to please you oh your majesty, it has helped me to get a better understanding of the teen mind. I don't often post about my own problems, but use this more to get a better understanding of other people and myself. in that respect: yes, it has helped me.
And now back to the cheese...

Re: Has This Site Helped You?
yes
a LOT
a LOT
I wanna try that pill that people take
Make you believe all the things that people say
Sick of shuckin' 'round with a screwed up face
With my heels dug in trying to leave a trace
Now come on put me down somehow
How you lose your faith
Just take my hand and lead me where you wanna
Make you believe all the things that people say
Sick of shuckin' 'round with a screwed up face
With my heels dug in trying to leave a trace
Now come on put me down somehow
How you lose your faith
Just take my hand and lead me where you wanna

Little Miss F*cker,
Don't Move An Inch
I looked at myself
So many things I hate in me
So many things are so hard to believe
I can hear the whole world calling me
Used to be all that i wanted
You to see all that i you to be
does anyone care
Add me.

Re: Has This Site Helped You?
Actually, now that I think about it, it hasn't really helped me, personally. I havn't really.. asked for much help, probably because my problems seem kind of insignificant, and I've never needed help that I couldn't help myself with...
I guess it HAS helped me indirectly though- made me learn a lotta stuff about other people and the world.. outside of my miniture town... so that was good. And.. spending hours helping other people makes me feel good.. so yeah.. in a way it HAS helped me..

The whole arrangement's designed for men who, at some time or other in their lives, were looking for something their own environment couldn't supply them with. Or they thought their own environment couldn't supply them with. So they gave up looking. They gave it up before they ever really even got started"
