hello world. but yea. i have an acoustic guitar. and well, i got it in december and im really not learning nothin. i get tabs an stuff..and try to play. but then i just stop. anyone got some tips or pointer for a beginner chick like me. graci.

Ya all I do is strum chords...

Sometimes I check up some sites for other songs that I know and might want to play.



But if you want to know how to play guitar in other ways, I suggest u get a book from a library (though I don;'t know how goodd they are)

Or even ask a music teacher...that is if you have access to one.



If ur musically inclined, u can make up ur own sequence of chords and see where they lead...and then add words, and voila! You've written a song

The more you do it and more you mess with it the better you will become.



I taught myself how to play really good.. just by working at it when I was bored and just playing around.. It will work out, just keep at it.

Lessons, or a book to teach yourself.



They also have books that you can get that show you how to play certain songs from a certain band. I have a Beatles book.

yea, i go to mxtabs.com and find tabs for songs. iono. my hands just arent use to the guitar yet..

Your fingers really have to become accustomed to the strings and becoming coordinated.



It took me at least a year to perfect self teach myself and that was strumming all the time. I highly recommend getting a teacher.. The more hands on experience the person has had the better teacher they are.
