This stupid thing Gain keeps poppin up on my computer with like ads and those lil 'would you like to install'.... things and i cant make it go away...anyone know an uninstaller?

Download Ad-Aware and Spybot Search and destroy. Update both and then run the scanners. Ad-Aware can be downloaded from http://www.lavasoftusa.com Spybot can be downloaded from http://www.safer-networking.org

if you dont want to use adware removal, you could use a method that i use......



as soon as you get to your desktop, press control+alt+delete and click on the program gmt and click end task. the program will be terminated, and you won't get any popups

Hmm, how often do you reboot?



CTRL ALT DEL each time you reboot, find the item, end task, close window



avg time of reboot, 1 per day. 365 days in a year, X 4 items = 1460 steps that need doing in 1 year.

Install Adaware, uninstall Gain, i will be generous and give 400 steps in 1 year.



hmm Sounds like you are not lazy, but rather wanting to do more work. I'm the lazy one, I like to keep my computer clean of all that shit

If you have programs that have Gain,it's heard to get the ad off.If you use iMesh the Gain ads won't disappear.

Get Peerguardian. It will do you wonders. It works kinda like a firewall, except it blocks all the bad crap. With that in addition to a good spyware prog, will be good enough for anyone.



I dont use a virus prog anymore since I got all this.
