Log In User Names
Okay so you know how you can make a user name for your computer and keep it p/w protected? well i need to take it off of here because its not letting me re-move all the programs i have because its limited or whatever because im on an account for my computer or whatver, its *my* computer and i think i have another user name but i have apsolutly no idea how to remove them, ive tried everything i can think of and nothing works. its Windows 95 though, so idk, any suggestions?
Little Miss F*cker,
Don't Move An Inch
I looked at myself
So many things I hate in me
So many things are so hard to believe
I can hear the whole world calling me
Used to be all that i wanted
You to see all that i you to be
does anyone care
Add me.

Re: Log In User Names
Windows 95 and 98 claim to be multiple user operating systems but they arent. The simple fact is the login screen should not even be there because it is absolutely useless.
Windows 2000 and XP are.

Re: Log In User Names
Assuming you do actually have Windows 95/98/98 SE
To find out what version you really have - Start Settings Control Panel System - General tab will have all the information about your Operating System.
Start Find *.pwd - delete ALL FILES (or rename them if you don't want to chance anything)
Start settings control panel Passwords 2nd tab at the top
Change to the option that everyone uses the same settings on this computer
Start Settings Control Panel Network - make sure Microsoft Family Login is REMOVED and in it's place, Add Client Microsoft Client For Microsoft Networks.
Restart your computer - when the network propmpt comes up, Type in a username but leave the password BLANK. It will most likely just start into windows, but if it asks to confirm the blank password, just click OK.
After this is done, Start Settings Control Panel, Network - at the bottom, choose the Primary Network Login = Windows Login
Restart - your computer should NO LONGER ASK for a username/password when you get on the system
