Mp3 Player Problem

Post by StressedOut »

Hey I have an Mp3 player with a LCD or LED display. My brother used it and after he was done I noticed that the battery indicator wasn't working. I don't want to return the Mp3 player so is there a way I could fix it?

Try letting the battery drain fully and leave it alone overnight. If it has removable batteries, good, take them out and do the same. Leave it there overnight.

LOL....is it rechargable battery? Just let the batteries drain. Pull out earphones, start up a very long playlist and the battery will die overnight. Recharge it.

i dont have rechargeable batteries, but i suppose wasting one won't kill me...

but i really think it could be the LCD screen because once part of an LCD screen on my clock burned out and it hasn't worked since

UPDATE:

I've noticed how some other icons aren't showing as well. This proves that something is wrong with the display!

Contact the internet store you bought it from.

Everything electronic comes with a manufacturers warranty. So contact store. :)

Probably not. These portable devices either work or they don't. It's not like a desktop computer where you can replace components. To save the songs off of your mp3 player, just do what you do put songs on it, just reverse. Copy them to your computer hard drive. But, after you've saved your songs, contact the store and see about the warranty. Hopefully it is still valid. With luck, it will be valid and you can get a replacement.

You should get your brother to worry about it.
