Good Books To Read?

Post by tragedysfaerie »

has anyone read any good books lately? I get really bored during the summer and I love to read and I've already read like 10 books this month so i figured i'd see if anyone had any suggestions of good books to read.
"I'm not feeling so bold

Can't you see I don't want to grow old

And my photograph's an epitaph of parody

I don't want to be me

I'm not feeling so sure

It would help if you offered a cure

If I wait, it's too late for the remedy

I don't want to be me

You won't save me

Cuz I'm not the fortunate one

So don't blame me

If I decide to go hide or instead to just run"

What kind of books do you like to read?

There's a new fiction book out called "The Rule of Four" that sounds really good. It sounds a little sci-fi, but more investigative.

Sophie's Choice - William Styron - that's the best book I've ever read in my life...

Hmm...check out Paul Theroux. He's good as well.

Anything by John Grisham.

A few by Danielle Steel.

All of the Sherlock Holmes books by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

Murder on Gramercy Park by Sarah Brandt

1984 by George Orwell

The Dilbert Principle by Scott Adams

The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger

The Lord of the Rings *SERIES* by J.R.R. Tolkien... trust me. The books are better!

The Virgin Suicides

Madame Bovary

Wuthering Heights

Of Mice and Men (if you're looking for something quick)

Emma (or anything by Jane Austen, except Mansfield Park. I hated that book)

The Bell Jar - if you're depressed or even wanna have an idea of what it's like, then read this.

Junk

Girl in red

A kind of loving

Skye: If you suggest they read the Pearl you are a bad person. Horrible excuse for mindless drivel.
