ok...this may seem like a stupid question for you computer smart people, but my mouse is like sticking and the ball thing isn'r rooling to its fun potential...so do i need to get a new mouse? or is there something eles thats cheaper that i should do?

open up your mouse ball area - usually instructions (usually arrows indicating how to turn it to open it) are on the bottom of the mouse.
Open it up and clean the ball with soap and warm water and something like an old tooth brush or some sort of abrasive material.
Clean the rollers by making sure there is a SOLID roller.... not with dirt on it. There are times when you may mistake dirt for part of the roller. The roller MUST BE CLEAN... it should just look like a regular rolling pin for dough... but smaller. If it has a bump on it where the ball hits the roller, clean it off as that's dirt. You may need a DRY ear cue tip to wipe it off or push it to the side to remove.
put it back together and enjoy.

you can open up the mouse and clean out the rollers (the little black bars)

Thanks, Adam...
It seems to work so far...i didn't understand the roller part, but i cleaned the ball and it works like 95%...still get stuck a bit but not nearly as much...there seemed to be some dust on the ball...that was probably what was making it stick...

but nooo...he knows alot about computers too and knows how to clean them _; and fix them... that means the only way I ever get a new comp is if I buy it...

It's awesome that you fixed your mouse by yourself, but something you might consider in the future would be an optical mouse. I used to think that I was just fine with my plain ol' mouse, but one day I got a optical mouse for about 15$ at "Big Lots!". Even for a cheap mouse, it was a amazingly smoother feel than my logitech mouse.

now that would really confuse me! ive come across others that are just like a joystick in the centre of the keyboard, with the left and right click buttons located on the keyboard itsef.

Optical mouses are the way to go, ya never gatta clean anything!
