Fire Places

Post by SexyLittleDoll »

Is there anyway that if a house is already built a fireplace could be put in? I know this is the stupidest most random question but does anyone know?

"I have a feeling that you're riding for some kind of a terrible, terrible fall. . . . This fall I think you're riding for-it's a special kind of fall, a horrible kind. The man falling isn't permitted to feel or hear himself hit bottom. He just keeps falling and falling. The whole arrangement's designed for men who, at some time or other in their lives, were looking for something their own environment couldn't supply them with. Or they thought their own environment couldn't supply them with. So they gave up looking. They gave it up before they ever really even got started"

Yep, it's possible. It's probably expensive, but it can be done. We just got our basement fire place wired up to the adjoining one above it.

Its possibly. You might have to sacrifice some space in your attick or in an upstairs room. but it can be done. But its very expensive and messy and takes alot of work. :(

If you are talking about the gas ones it is not too hard of a process, you do not need the ventilation as you do with a standard wood fireplace so you do not have to have a full chimney.
