We agree that slavery was a tradition, and that "women's roles" was a tradition, right? Those were stamped out because they were discriminatory. We see that now, and even though the majority didn't want to end the tradition then, it turned out to be the best thing for the country to do. Not allowing gays to marry is discriminatory as well, there's no question about that. It's also a tradition. So, this kind of discrimination needs to be stamped out as well and it will just be a matter of time.



People talk about these "activist judges" like they're a bad thing. But, remember, it was activist judges who ended segregation in the 1950's, and about 70% of the nation disagreed with that. It's about the same now. See what I'm getting at...?
