The Funk icon Rick James has passed away at the age of 56. He died at his Los Angeles home and early reports are saying that it was a heart attack. Though he has had a troubled life before and after acheiving stardom he was a cultural icon that will be remembered for years to come. He has influenced countless bands since his debut and is now a part of music history.
