My post count keeps changing!! even though i'm not online. Yesterday it was 498 and now its 460!! What's happening?

My only guess is topics are being deleted or that you just forgot what your post count was at before. Ask a monitor or administrator or something, they might know.

When you post, it writes to 3 parts of the database, your post count, the topic post count, and the post itself

if the post itself is deleted, there would be nothing changed with either of the other 2 entries. I cannot say you had or had not the amount of postcounts before, but I can say no one has edited your account, except for me (to add you as a moderator, to which i did not touch your post count), and that's the onliy way admins can turn them down.

I just checked through all admin logs for present to June 1st, 2004 and your nickname is only mentioned 2 times, 1 to add you to the forum for moderation, and 1 to edit your account to make you part of the group moderators. Both were done by me.

Could you possibly be imagining things? I'll watch yours to see if it goes lower than anything.... but possibly you thought it was that high cause you were posting somewhere in either introductions or one of the Lounge forums?
