I can't seem to install Yahoo! Messenger.

I go to "Install Messenger" and click it and nothing happens.

Can anyone help me out?

I assume your talking about their website install thing? Download the file directly instead of using their stupid Internet Explorer only install. The link for it is below.

I use yahoo messanger every day, and it never has given me a virus. You guys might have downloaded somthign from eachother or someone else then trancefered it to eachother. Yahoo messanger does not have a virus in it.

YIM in and of itself will not give you a virus. If you download something from it, thinking it is something else or otherwise you can get a virus through it, however YIM will not give you a virus unless you do something to allow it.

Yahoo Messenger is fine. It's a far shot more secure than AIM.

You do not get a virus from Yahoo! Messenger. You get a virus from not being smart in how you use Yahoo! Messenger by accepting file transfers from people you don't know and opening them without first scanning them witha virus scanner. I scan everything before opening it, even if it's from family.
