Yeah...I highly recommend you read it. It's just...an insane book. So well written, I've never read anything like it in my life. There's nothing like Southern writers. Nothing. And like, a book has never made me cry before. But that one did. And it makes me cry everytime I read it still to this day.

If you like the movie Fight Club, anything by Chuck Palenhuik is great. Some of the best books I've ever read are by him. They're all really fucked up, but really really well written.

hmm i am interested.. which book should i read from him first? (is there a best one..?)[/b][/quote]

Ummm Invisible Monsters is a good first book of his to read. Choke(very very sexually graphic in some parts) is a good one if you like twisted sex related stuff. Fight Club if you like strong social commentary. Survivor is strong religious commentary. Lullaby is a lot different as it involves the super natural.

I just read Will Weaver's "Claws" It is a really really good book! The ending is a big surprise, so its really good! I also read "Heart's Delight" by Per Nilsson, which is written in a very interesting way. Its about this guy and hes destroying all the stuff that reminds him of his ex-gf.. Its pretty good.
