Sometimes when I type in a web site, google or some other search engine comes up saying couldn't be found and it gives me a list of alternative web sites? That has happened to HT and it just happened to peta.org. Why does this happen? Is the site down or something?

You have SPYWARE.

Go to download.com adaware download and install and run

It'll clear your system.

i can't, it tells me i dont have authorization and i need to be logged in as an admin.

if thats the case you may need to reformat, or try downloading Sysweeper, it gets rid of alot more. Anyway it can be found at http://www.webroot.com

Are you the only person who uses your computer? Do you have a parent that uses it as well? They would most likely have the account name and password to login as an administrator so you could do the things you need to do.

Use an antivirus program and see what it does.Mines used to do that,but I have a virus program and haven't has a virus in 5 weeks.

No. You are on a user level account...you need to login as Admin.

Then install Ad-Aware and Spyboy Search & Destroy.
