I always wonder why bad things have to happen to people who are trying so hard.

That really makes me so, so, so sad. I loved Christopher Reeve - he was a good guy, and it did seem like he was making some progress, because I did a report on him.
His family must be so devestated Everyone was hoping for him to walk again.

The man falling isn't permitted to feel or hear himself hit bottom. He just keeps falling and falling. The whole arrangement's designed for men who, at some time or other in their lives, were looking for something their own environment couldn't supply them with. Or they thought their own environment couldn't supply them with. So they gave up looking. They gave it up before they ever really even got started"

My roommate told me about that this morning. It's sad. Oddly enough we were talking about Christopher Reeve last week in my psych class. Our professor was mentioning how even though he is paralyzed, if he is put on a treadmill he can still "walk." I wonder if that will be on our exam this week... even tangents do get used on our exams. Hmm...

How sad.
Meh - but hey - he was like...unable to move. It's probably for the best. Or something.
Cheers,
Jenna
