I'm just curious, who here saw Saw?
And if you saw it...did it scare the shit out of you? Because it made me cry.
Cheers,
Jenna

On the outside, they look so good

Re: Saw
I just saw the movie...
It horrified me... and I wanted to cry when Lawrence (sp?) was freaking out and couldn't reach the ringing phone and then well... went for the saw and you know what happens next. (don't want any spoilers).
The lines were really forced... but I think everything else about that movie makes up for it. I didn't even notice the quality of the acting because of the constant tenseness of the whole thing.
Yeah, it really freaked me out... I get squicked by stuff like this... The Grudge was a G-rated compared to this movie.'
I heard that Saw was originally rated NC-17 because of all the graphic images too.

Awesome. I must see it then. I hope it's still playing around in December... I want to see it with a good friend of mine, maybe.

Re: Saw
i dont think that saw was a very scary movie but it was a more profound movie. yes the acting sucked but towards the end it got better. the actual storyline was very interesting and it makes you think, on top of that there are many subtle hints left throughout the entire movie telling you who the "killer" really is, but theyre so subtle i had to watch the movie 3or4 times to catch them all. the puppet was the only thing that i thought was freaky and when the guy got out of the car and crawled, kinda made me nervous.
forthose that dont know what its about, there is a serial killer who goes by the name of Jigsaw the captures his victims who are morally wayward people, but doesnt kill them, he puts them in a situation where they have to make a choice, otherwise they wind up killing themselves. Two men wake up in a subterranean bathroom chained up to pipes on opposite sides of the room, with another man dead in the middle. They dont know each other, but soon they find out that is Jigsaw has them captive. One must kill the other in order to survive, but an elaborate puzzle has been setup. They only have 6 hours to figure out the puzzle or both of them die.

Rosca: They ain't Metal!
Me: Well they probably get more women than we will ever in our lives combined
Rosca: Yea cause they're gay. . .

Re: Saw
I agree. It didn't scare the living ass out of me. But it was graphic and profound. The profoundness made me all serious and stuff. Overall, the movie was OK, it was eye gripping and gross. I wouldn't watch it again. lol
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.
