Installation?
This annoys me. Our computer, which we've had for a year or so, refuses to install anything. Like the game I'm trying to play - and which i HAVE played on that computer before - tries to install, then some message comes upi saying that "unInstallShield is already running." Or something to that effect, but I checked processes and nothing's running that isn't normal computer stuff, like explorer, norton, etc. Any ideas?

Re: Installation?
Before installing,
Go to Start Control Panels Administrative Tools Services
In the list, find Windows Installer and make sure it's set to Manual and NOT STARTED.
If it is started, stop it, and then try installing your game. Also make sure you have Administrative privaledges or are part of the Local Power Users group (have your computer administrator give you those permissions by right clicking My Computer, clicking Manage, under Local Users And Groups, under Users, right click your username, properties, Member Of tab, Add, type in 'power users' click ok, click ok, close Computer Management).
