The New Msn
When I try to sign in for MSN messenger, it tells me "In order to continue, you must download the latest version of MSN messenger". But then when I try to download it, it doesn't work on my computer. What should I do?

Hmmm.... I've never seen that happen before. It's never prompted me to upgrade to 7.0 (Nor will I).
.... and then the post was through.

Maybe you have a virsus or something? Or maybe you don't have memory or room for an upgrade? That is unlikly though unless your computer is really old.
Just when you think you've got me figured out the season's already changing
I think it's cool you do what you do and don't try to save me.

Re: The New Msn
Maybe you are using WINDOWS messenger 4.7 rather than MSN messenger 6.2 or 7.0. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE.
If you go to Help, and About, is it windows or MSN messenger, and what exact version is it?

Re: The New Msn
If you are using Windows Messenger 4.7 or MSN Messenger 6.0 you will be forced to upgrade because there is an extremely critical vulnerability in those versions of MSN Messenger. So when you sign on to MSN Messenger Microsoft checks what version of their client you are using and forces the upgrade. If you are using MSN Messenger 6.2.0205 or MSN Messenger 7.0 FINAL you will be fine.

I'm using MSN Messenger 7.0 BETA. It won't let me sign in at all.

Re: The New Msn
It's because you are using the BETA version - the FINAL version is out - get it at http://messenger.msn.com/
