Has anyone seen this movie? I thought it was pretty good, and I think Bruno Ganz delivered a more accurate, believable portrayal of Hitler. It was nice to see a German made film about the Third Reich, rather than some Hollywood portrayal of Hitler as an extremely unlikeable, foaming-at-the-mouth, mental patient, (i.e., Hitler: Rise Of Evil.)
It was especially sad to see the effects that such fanaticism can have on people, such as the tragic fate of the Goebbels family, (although I can't really say I have much sympathy for Joseph or Magda Goebbels.) The scenes showing children fighting against the Russian army in the streets, willing to die for an already doomed ideology were also quite depressing to see.
If you have any interest in the Third Reich or WW2 I would definitely reccomend this movie, and it's still a good watch even if you don't.
