Mind Stimulating Topic #1

Post by InnocenceLost57 »

Read the following four questions and spend two minutes on each listing as many consequences as you can think of. Do not go over two minutes per question.

What would be the results if night and day were replaced by perpetual daytime?

What would happen if it appeared certain that within three months the entire surface of the earth would be covered bby water except for the high mountain areas?

What would happen if everyone in the world became vegetarian overnight?

What would happen if the supply of oil were to run out within a year?

I stole this from my other forum, as i do with many of my topics...i may post #2, maybe not. But think about these, there have been some interesting responses. What do yall think?

d) they would find another source for power, meanwhile there would be a lot of sex ..... but AHHHHHHHHHH!!!! NO OILY SEX (you didn't specify which oil, or all oils)

Why give up, why give in?

It's not enough, it never is.

So I will go on until
the end.

We've become desolate.

It's not enough, it never
is.

But I will go on until the end.

I've lost my way.

I've lost my way, but I will go on until the end.

Living is
hard enough

Without you fucking up.

What would be the results if night and day were replaced by perpetual daytime?

Most habitats in the world would become completely unbalanced, and a large amount of living things would die. This would probably cause food shortage and death by starvation.

What would happen if it appeared certain that within three months the entire surface of the earth would be covered by water except for the high mountain areas?

With a few exceptions, we would probably all die either as a direct or indirect result. If survival were possible, the economy and society structure may not ever return to their previous forms.

What would happen if everyone in the world became vegetarian overnight?

We would have far too many animals in the world, and the most humane thing to do would be to kill them regardless.

What would happen if the supply of oil were to run out within a year?

Hmm. A lot of us (with the exception of the very rich) would have to go without 'essential' things such as plastics, transport and power, until an effective and cost efficient substitute is provided.

I enjoyed this. I want more questions posted, please!

What would be the results if night and day were replaced by perpetual daytime?

Animals would be unable to differentiate between day and night, plants would over produce oxygen, and then entire structure of our ecosystem as we know it would enter into complete chaos.

What would happen if it appeared certain that within three months the entire surface of the earth would be covered bby water except for the high mountain areas?

People would freak out, we'd move to higher ground. NASA would do a huge research project about sending people to the moon.

What would happen if everyone in the world became vegetarian overnight?

Our atmosphere would will with shitloads of methane due to the extreme increase in number of cows.

What would happen if the supply of oil were to run out within a year?

We would finally mass produce the single cell fuel engine. (Is that what it is called? I forget). And we would put a lot of money into research for better oil methods of producing plastics, etc etc etc. Knowing Bush, he'd claim that it would never happen, and then try to take over the world in hopes to get America the last of the remaining oil. Because, of course, he cares so much for the environment and cultures that the oil is housed under.
