I watched it last night. Personally, I didn't think it was that great. It had a few really scary parts though, like the burning training racing down the rails, and the way they Vaporized people. I guess I didn't like it because it concentrated on the domestic issues, like what your average Joe would do if say, aliens attacked? I'm personally more interested on what would happen on a global scale, like "what is the government doing?"

lol, seconds after the movie ended, everyone in the theatre was like, "What? I don't get it? how did the aliens die?" and i understand that, because they didn't really tell you in plain english what happened. "From the moment they breathed our air and drank our water they were doomed".

I also watched the old version too, so i had a pretty good idea of what was going to happen. I knew what the space craft would look like, and i knew they died from...well, i dont want to ruin it for those who havent seen it.

im done rambling now.

If you read the book, then you would know EXACTLY how they die! But somebody has already said how they died, so no point in me saying

I saw about 30 minutes of it on my work break, and I'm going to see the whole thing soon. I saw from the part when the machine comes out of the street to when the girl sees the dead bodies in the water. From what I saw it was amazing.

Though I was going to see it tonight for the 11pm showing but THEY CLOSED THEIR DOORS 5 MINUTES EARLY! I was so pissed off because they are supposed to close at 11:15... not 11:10. Bastard fucks. I'm going to complain to them next time I work because tonight may have been the only night I could have convinced my friend to see it with me.

But yeah... I'll stop complaining. :)

No, they closed the entire theatre, so I couldn't even get in to buy the ticket. :(
