Messy Buns

Post by _ofunsoundmind »

Are 'messy buns' still in style these days? I don't get out of the house much, and when I do, I have the baby with me so it's not like I have the time to do anything ellaborate.

I don't think there really are any up-do styles that are in right now. Just don't do one braid in the back (pigtail braids are okay) unless it really works for you haha.

I put my hair back alot when I don't have my hair extensions in and it looks really dumb because I have a 2 inch pony tail haha.

Yeah, people wear messy buns a lot. But I don't know if they're "in" or whatever. :P

Oh, who cares if they are in style or not? I love them anyway.

I would wear my hair in messy buns, if they would actually stay put.

Does anyone have tips for messy buns and fine hair?

Take care,

I see people wearing them all the time. I usually have my hair in a messy bun. I have it like that right now. I don't care if its 'in style'. I do what I like. Its fast and convenient. It doesn't matter what other people think. Do what is comfortable and easiest for you. You have better things to worry about besides your hair.

I wear my hair like that just because I hate wearing it down and I hate taking the time to make it look good. I don't really care how I look as long as my clothes aren't ugly/mismatching/slutty.

I love messy buns. I do them most right after I've taken a shower and usually I just don't have the energy to do something with it. That means the messy bun will still look half decent later when it's dry. My problem is putting the messy bun up when my hair is dry... it just looks bad (haha, that really shouldn't make sense... but it does).

My friend a couple years ago was getting herself ready to go out, she put her hair up in a bun and started rubbing her head with her fingertips and made a point to make it look messy. And funny thing was how good it looked!
