Covers/guitar

Post by 309756 »

I really enjoy playing other band's songs on guitar (that's called playing "covers" for the non-guitar public)... and I was just wondering if other people did and what kind of songs they're working on.

Like, I just finished Green Day's When September Ends, My Chemical Romance's Romance, and Fall Out Boy's "Where Is Your Boy Now"... I especially enjoy a challenging solo, so I do some Avenged Sevenfold and stuff.

So, go on, tell me what you do.

The last song I learned on guitar was the live version of the Eagles - Hotel California. That was a fun challenge!
I traded my dreams for this mess of memories

And they just stopped working for me...

My boyfriend Roo can play My Chemical Romance, Franz Ferdinand, Boxcar Racer, Greenday, 7th Nation Army and the begiining of Muse's 'Plug in Baby'. Plus he can play others and hes pretty good at it.

I use to be able to play the Beatles on the keyboard (completely different instrument I know!) and some Spice Girls songs. I've not played my keyboard for a while though...
