Yahoo's Really Scary Movie List
BOO!!
Hi Everyone!!
Click on THIS to see Yahoo's list of Really Scary Movies.
Have you seen many of them?
Are there are few scary movies NOT on that list - that YOU liked?
I've always liked 'The Changeling' staring George C. Scott. It was filmed in New York, Seattle and Vancouver in the late 1970's.
GREAT BIG HUG

Hehe, I don't think 'Silence of the Lambs' is scary. Is that bad?

Re: Yahoo's Really Scary Movie List
I've only seen parts of Silence of the Lambs, Halloween (1, 2, and 5), and Jaws. I have seen The Ring and Carrie. The original Carrie was pretty freaky... not scary so much as you want to kill some of the people in it. ^^ The Ring wasn't that scary at all, in my opinion. I want to see Misery. Ever since I saw the Hobbling scene on I love the 80s (80s? not sure ^^) i've wanted to see it ^^ i'm a sick person lol

I have to say Saw was pretty damn scary. I had the worst night's sleep ever after that movie. I even slept with a light AND the tv on after that.

Re: Yahoo's Really Scary Movie List
Shouldn't this be the "Really Funny Movie List"?
Seven: nice, good laughs, nice torture
Hellraiser: pure laughs... how can anyone take that seriously?
The Ring: wasn't even worth laughing at... I hated the American version
The Shining: mini-series and book were better. Transition from sanity to lack thereof was too abrupt. Besides, how can you think a guy dragging an axe around declaring his coming is scary? You can kick the crap out of him even before HE knows what's going on.
Alien: the entire series was good enough to raise a chuckle every now and then.
Yes, I am a sadist when watching movies, I laugh at other people's fictional pain, keyword being fictional. Especially seeing as how most of those things are chemically, physically, psychically, mentally or otherwise impossible
I preffer books to movies anyway, Lovecraft is a great writer and HIS stories are scary as hell :S I can really recommend "At The Mountains of Madness", but I have to say that "Call of Cthulhu" wasn't all it's cracked up to be, in my opinion.

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

Don't Move An Inch
I looked at myself
So many things I hate in me
So many things are so hard to believe
I can hear the whole world calling me
Used to be all that i wanted
You to see all that i you to be
does anyone care
Add me.
