I play bass guitar and guitar. Occasionally me and a friend will get together and play (he plays piano) but there's no special arrangement or anything!
I traded my dreams for this mess of memories

And they just stopped working for me...

I don't play in a band or anything, but hope to soon. I play keyboard, recorder, tin whistle, a bit of guitar, a bit of harmonica, and am hoping to soon learn bass.

Hey, you're hardcore? Goddamn, nobody fucking on here is hardcore. They like, listen to Fall Out Boy and Coheed and emo stuff.

No offence to you guys, at all, it's just not what I listen to.

I'm totally stoked that you listen to harder/non-sold out shit.

Yeah, I play the drums, and I'm kinda looking for a hardcore/metalcore band right now. My town has an AMAZING hardcore scene, and drummers are hard to find, so if I were really seriously looking, I'd be able to find one.

I'm thinking of starting a band, though...

I'd love to scream for one, because girl screaming bands are RAAARE and hot as hell.

I don't know, when the time comes, I'll see, but I'd love to either drum or scream for one.

We should chat sometime, yeah?

Cheers,

wtf is hardcore? I hate all that core shit. it's not hardcore, it's either metal or emo.

I play guitar, but, not in any band. I suppose I just play for myself

I've had a guitar for about a year..I rock out pretty hard.

But I'm not all that experienced, like I Don't know much..but people still think of me as a guitarist of some shit-level. I'm getting better and I'll be making a band called Babe Patrol soon.

I play metal primarily, anything heavy loud and fast...but I'll play whatever I can.

Favorite bands consist of Iron Maiden, Children of Bodom, The Black Mages...

looool i dled some fall out boy.

Hahaha, quite on the contrary, hardcore is hardcore. There's metal core, but metal is not nearly anything like hardcore. Metal is like, shitty guitars and people trying to be rock.

It doesn't really work. Like Iron Maiden.

Hardcore is like Norma Jean, The Red Chord, The Chariot, Terror, Bury Your Dead, First Blood, and Through the Eyes of the Dead.

Check those bands out, they're amazing. Norma Jean is by far my favorite band.

I think once you start listening to hardcore, you realise that there is a difference, I guess. Like, Reno has a HUGE hardcore scene and since I've grown up with it....I can definately see the differences between hardcore and other genres of music.

Cheers,

lol Metal isn't shitty guitars and people trying to be rock - they know rock. Hardcore is borderline emo - lots of screaming and annoyingcore. You look at hardcore band's pics and you see emo looks, they're emo who scream. Metal is more on the lines of well.. rock. lol not emo.

:P

Emo who scream? No, they scream the truth - they scream for what they believe in.

*shrug* To each their own. I don't think you really understand what hardcore is, then. And many times ,they don't have emo pictures....they dress hardcore, they dress scene.

Lol.

I'll find examples later or something.

Hahahaha.

You and I are like,

a lot alike.

*high five for drumming and hardXcore*

Cheers cherie.

Naw, it's not hard at all.

It's just a trick to get the bass pedal to bounce.

Then you can do it forever.

Same with the sticks.

A lot of people are stupid and can't play drums properly....the key to everything is bouncing them with barely any muscle use.

I love doing double bass pedal to songs...I played with a band a while back and recorded it...maybe I'll find it and put it up here.

It was really radical.

Cheers.

piano, mostly classic because I go to a conservatoire. As much as I like other kinds of music, most just sound shitty when played on the piano. Leave the hardcore, metal, rock, paper, spoon... and the rest to other instruments.

I'm a musician! I can play some guitar, drums, I can do some vocals, and I'm getting interested in the bass guitar now. I just love that deep, low sound.
